Gallery FLOOD - UPDATE
It was a gut-wrenching moment when we opened the door on Friday, May 26th and saw our gallery walls reflected in 2-inch-deep puddles of water in the middle of our store's floor. Water poured from the ceiling onto our framing table, including our computers, monitors, printer, credit card terminal, mat samples and various paperwork. As it turned out, the hot water tank broke in the upstairs apartment and leaked undetected all night. Some of our art did not escape the water, but luckily, all custom orders were spared and are safely stored in a dry area. Thankfully, our art studio and workshop are off-site and have not been affected, so we can continue to fulfill the new orders placed in person, by phone and online.
